The groundbreaking ceremony for Unit 4 of Nirmal Wires Pvt. Ltd. was virtually performed by Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi during a business summit hosted by the Industrial Promotion & Investment Corporation of Odisha. Managing director Nirmal Saraf and fellow directors Piyush and Parag Saraf attended the ceremony, demonstrating the company’s determination to increase its footprint in the state.
The 142nd State Level Single Window Clearance Authority (SLSWCA) meeting approved the investment, which would increase aluminum output by 5,000 tons per month. The extra capacity is intended to satisfy demand from industries including infrastructure, renewable energy, and power transmission. With an annual manufacturing capacity of 60,000 tons of aluminum products, the 50-acre Khordha complex is already one of the company’s largest operations. It uses wire drawing lines, rolling mills, and rigid stranding systems to produce anything from aluminum rods to completed conductors.
High-end conductors including AACSR, ACAR, and ACSS will be introduced by the firm as part of their expansion, bringing a range of goods to the aluminum market. More than 300 technical and support jobs are anticipated to be created by this initiative, boosting local employment and the industrial sector in the area. Following the proposal’s clearance at the SLSWCA meeting, which was presided over by chief secretary Manoj Ahuja, the state is also supporting this project for investment and manufacturing expansion.
