Khinda village, the birthplace of Surendra Sai, will be converted to a model village. ” This was stated by Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan after meeting Veer Surendra Sai Dayad in Khinda village.
Before leaving for Khinda village, Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan unveiled a statue of Veer Surendra Sai at Veer Surendra Sai airport, Jharsuguda.
Mr. Pradhan said, “In September 2018, Prime Minister Narendra Modi dedicated the Jharsuguda airport to the nation. Prime Minister Modi honored the Oriya nation by naming the airport as Veer Surendra Sai airport. Veer Surendra Sai was a dedicated freedom fighter, is one of the most incarcerated prisoners. While there are all sorts of arrangements here to make his birthplace a high-end tourist destination, everyone needs to make a concerted effort. ”
Mr. Pradhan added, “Jharsuguda has a lot of mineral resources. In addition, there is a huge potential to accelerate the tourism industry. The Modi government is committed to accelerating the economic and social progress of the region. ”
