This year 32 children have been awarded the ‘Pradhan Mantri Rashtriya Bal Puraskar’ which is an effort from the Central Government to recognise children for their exceptional abilities and their outstanding accomplishments in the field of innovation, scholastics, sports, arts, culture, social service and bravery.
Among those 32 children, Anvesh Subham Pradhan from Odisha also won for ‘Pradhan Mantri Rashtriya Bal Puraskar 2021’. The Ministry of Women and Child Development in an official statement informed about the awardees are from 32 districts of 21 Stated and Union territories. Seven awards have been given in the field of art and culture, nine awards for innovation and five for scholastic achievements. Similarly, as many as seven children have won in the sports category, three have been awarded for bravery, and one has been honoured for her efforts in social service.
President Ram Nath Kovind on occasion stated that Pradhan Mantri Rashtriya Bal Puraskar 2021’ would not only motivate the winners but will also encourage millions of other young children to dream, aspire and stretch their limits.
According to the reports, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will virtually interact with the Rashtriya Bal Puraskar awardees tomorrow through video-conferencing.
