Vaccination will be halted in five districts of the state

Vaccination will be suspended in five districts today. The state government has decided to suspend the vaccination program due to a shortage of vaccines. The districts where vaccination will be stopped are Boudh, Jharsuguda, Koraput, Sambalpur and Sonepur.

Vaccination was suspended in 12 districts yesterday. The state government is forced to close several centers due to low supply of vaccines. In addition, the entire district has to be closed. Vaccinations were closed in 12 districts yesterday, while vaccinations are now closed in five districts.

In addition, it will not be possible to vaccinate people over the age of 45 for a second dose. The vaccine will then be widely affected as the state is closed on Saturday and Sunday. Vaccination of people over the age of 18 may also be delayed. According to the state government, there are currently 180 doses of covishield  vaccine in the state, while 3,36,500 doses of covaxin vaccine are available.
