Rest of the IPL matches will be played outside of India: Sourav Ganguly

The current IPL League has been suspended due to Covid 19. While some matches have been played, cricket fans are eagerly waiting to see where the rest of the matches will be played.

BCCI president Sourav Ganguly has made a big statement on the 2021 IPL. “In the current situation, it is not possible to play the rest of matches in India”  . Of the 60 matches of the current season, 29 have been played. There are now 31 left. If the league is canceled, the board will lose around Rs 2,500 crore.

“Players have to be harassed because of the 14-day quarantine,” Ganguly told StarSports.

“We have created an organic safety belt and the rules have been complied with,” he said. We all had support. There were fewer cases in Corona in December-February. Because of this, we have been able to host women’s cricket, Syed Mushtaq Ali and Vijay Hazare Trophy. We were also planning for junior cricket, but we had less chances due to the second wave of the corona. So now it is scheduled to play the remaining four IPL matches outside India.
