A unique music video based on Shiva Tandava Strotam and Sagar Manthan which means churning of the sea was created by an Odia team where several international associations have endorsed the project.
The music video has become a popular viral music video’ was made by the Auromira Entertainment production house who has also made the famous ‘Aigiri Nandini and was collaborated with veteran Odia singer Susmita Das to release the thrilling action song titled ‘Prithvi Manthan’.
The concept note has been written by Siddhanta Das, husband of singer Susmita and former Director-General of Forest, Government of India. Shiv Kumar Bilagrami has penned the lyrics while Om Prakash Mohanty has composed the music.
Several associations have endorsed this project including – United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP), International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN), Bombay Natural History Society (BNHS), The Energy and Resources Institute (TERI), Wildlife Trust of India (WTI) and Jungle Lodges and Resorts (JLR) which a Karnataka government undertaking. Along with endorsing the project they have also given consent to use their logo in the video film. Odisha Mining Corporation Ltd also has lent its support.
Dev Meher regarding the project stated that apart from being the only song from India to be backed by the UN body for 2021, this music video has several firsts. For the first time in India, a music video on Pollution has been created at this scale combining CGI, Choreography, Performance and Art. Similarly, for the first time, a concept on the environment has been musically fused into Shiva Tandava Stotram.
