After the crushing defeat against South Africa in South Africa both in ODIs and Test series, Team India is all set to play an ODI and T20 series at home against West Indies. The board of selectors has finally decided on a full squad for the one day and the t20 series.
The most important selection has been the inclusion of Rohit Sharma. Rohit Sharma is full fit from injury and is all going to lead the side against West Indies. His captaincy will be the much-needed boost for Team India which was lacking while KL Rahul was acting as a stand-in captain.
Washington Sundar returns to the squad after fully recovering from COVID. Jasprit Bumrah and Mohammad Shami have been rested for workload management. Hardik Pandya and Jadeja are still not fully fit and Ashwin is sidelined for an injury. Bhuvameshwar Kumar has been dropped from the ODI side after poor performances.

Deepak Hooda, Ravi Bishnoi, Awesh Khan, and Kuldeep Yadav all make into the squad.
