The Supreme Court Of India has rejected the plea to cancel offline exams for Class 10 and 12. Therefore all schools whether state or private, ICSE or CBSE will now have their board exams offline.
The class X and XII students from over 15 states filed the plea seeking an alternative assessment method for the upcoming board exams. In 2021, the CBSE, CISCE, other state boards chose to evaluate students based on alternative assessment criteria.
The CBSE has announced the dates for class X and XII term 2 exams. The term 2 exams will be conducted from April 26. Meanwhile, the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) is expected to hold the ICSE Class X and ISC Class XII exam in April last week. The detailed timetable will be announced soon.
