The Punjab Police made an arrest in the Sidhu Moosewala murder case on Monday, apprehending a guy from Haryana’s Sirsa district who is accused of passing on information about the singer’s activities to the sharpshooters who shot him. According to sources, police have identified eight sharpshooters involved in the crime, including two Pune residents.

The offender apprehended in Sirsa has been identified as Sandeep alias Kekra, who was hired to undertake the reconnaissance by Sachin Bishnoi, who claims to have murdered Moosewala “with his own hands.” Sachin is the nephew of Lawrence Bishnoi, a convicted mobster from Punjab, whose gang members first claimed responsibility for the death.
