Actor R Madhavan, who is basking in the massive success of his latest release ‘Rocketry,’ which opened to largely positive reviews, along with his family met Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik. The actor who was in Bhubaneswar along with his wife and son went to visit the Odisha CM.
Showering praises for CM Patnaik, R Madhavan described him as “dynamic”. He also stated that Odisha is no longer India’s best-kept secret. Accompanied by Sports Secretary R. Vineel Krishna, Madhavan visited different facilities within the Stadium complex including the upcoming Aquatic Centre.
Madhavan was all praises for the infrastructure and amenities being provided at the Kalinga Stadium. He was surprised to know Odisha is the biggest sponsor of Hockey in India. “I think Odisha is soon going to be one of the Centre of Excellence in sports in India,” he said.
He later thanked the Chief Minister for the hospitality and endeavour of putting Odisha firmly on one of the Best Sports Venue maps in India.
