According to a research by the media consulting firm Ormax, Pooja Entertainment’s “Cuttputlli” was the most streamed movie and series for the year 2022 on Disney+ Hotstar. Rudra: The Edge Of Darkness, a replica of Luther produced by BBC Studios India and Applause Entertainment, won the award for most-watched web show with 35.2 million views.
A Thursday, starring Yami Gautam and Neha Dhupia, and Govinda Naam Mera, starring Vicky Kaushal, Kiara Advani, and Bhumi Pednekar, are the films that come in second and third place, respectively, after Cuttputlli. Gehraiyaan, starring Deepika Padukone, and Freddy, starring Kartik Aaryan, are in fourth and fifth place respectively.In second and third place, respectively, are Neena Gupta’s Panchayat season 2 and Bobby Deol’s third season of Aashram.
