As many as 5 major states of India were having their state elections results today. After loads of campaigns by all political parties, it was the result day today. While the major focus was at Uttar Pradesh, Punjab Goa, Manipur and Uttrakhand elections were also important from state and central level politics.
Its BJP who has taken a clean win in 3 states, i.e Uttar Pradesh, Manipur and Uttrakhand and is taking lead (without majority) in Goa. However, it is also a historical day for AAP as they have clean swept Congress from Punjab. While, there is a safforn Tsumani in Uttar Pradesh, AAP is cleaning Punjab with his sweeps.
BJP have also taken a majority in Manipur and Uttrakhand, thereby showing further strengthing their powers in India. While Bharity Janata Party also leads in Goa, they still haven’t won the majority. It will be interesting if they put an alliance with the local parties or if TMC puts up an alliance with Congress and comes in Goa.
