Interview Times Bhubaneswar: There is no limit to goodness and dedication and one of the best examples is Dr Arun Praharaj, an NRI from Odisha who is the founder, chairman of Bahrain Odia Samaj. His social woks are always in talk among people all over Odisha and Bahrain.
Recently, on the prestigious occasion on Independence Day (15th August), he decided to do something for women & child welfare, and he contributed to Parichay Foundation for a multipurpose center in Odisha which is built to help the women of poor section and too it was inaugurated on 15th August 2021. Eminent personalities like Prasanna Patsani, Housing Board Chairman, Priyadarshi Mishra, president of Parichay Foundation, Dr Rosalin Patsani, and MLA of Balipatna village were present at the event.
It is a step towards the Actual Independence Day celebration for the women of the weaker section of Balipatna village, in the district of Khurdha, Odisha.
On the occasion of 75th Independence Day Parichay Foundation in collaboration with WEDO, a Newyork based organization and Dr Arun Kumar Praharaj of Bahrain, Vice Chairman of Bahrain India Cultural & Arts Society and present Goodwill Ambassador of Vishva Odisha have constructed the community asset in the name of KANCHAN DEVI HALL for the overall well-being to empower economically poor.
This particular hall will provide different levels of counseling, awareness, advocacy, health programs to adolescent girls, women. Several skilled training programs will also be provided for sustainable development.
‘’I will continue our distribution drive project POSHAN for the destitute women on regular basis’’ says Rosalin Patsani.
‘’I will endeavor to contribute wholeheartedly for all such noble works undertaken in Odisha for the support to the weaker sections to the best of my capacity and ability’’ says Dr Arun Praharaj.
