Odisha To Forbid Old Vehicles On Roads Says Minister Padmanabha Behera

The Odisha government will take steps to keep old vehicles off the roads in line with the Centre’s vehicle scrapping policy, as informed by Commerce and Transport Minister Padmanabha Behera.

According to the reports, the policy states that vehicles in Odisha that have run beyond 15 years will not be allowed on the roads. He, however, added that the state government will decide the mode of implementation of the new policy at a high-level meeting very soon. The Policy was announced by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the Independence Day speech.
