Rashtriya Pratibha Samman for Poetic Excellence awarded to Author Tushar Kiran Moodgal

Award-winning poet and writer Tushar Kiran Moodgal hails from Shahdara, Delhi. In addition to co-writing more than 25 poetry collections, he is currently working on “Lamentations,” a collection of his solo poems that Evincepub Publishing plans to publish in May 2023. He attended St. Stephen’s College, Delhi University, where he studied Japanese, and he holds a master’s degree in political science and international relations. He attributes his love and passion for poetry and reading to his father. John Keats, William Wordsworth, Edgar Albert Guest, and Edgar Allan Poe are only a few of the legendary writers of English poetry that Tushar lists as influences.

The bilingual anthology “Anokhe Alfaz” published by Evincepub featured his poem “Birds of Misfortune,” which was awarded the “Most Soulful Poetry Award.”

Poetry by Tushar Kiran has appeared in a number of print and online periodicals.He also enjoys football, comic books, heavy metal, and martial arts. He has experience writing about sports for indie media sites including Bleedsport, Game Has Just Begun, and Vrinsidesports. He is the club secretary for the Chelsea India Supporters Club’s Delhi chapter and a devoted supporter of the English football powerhouse Chelsea F. C. His recent achievement was The Rashtriya Pratibha Samman that was conferred to him for Poetic Excellence .
