Working on movies for the wrong reasons, according to Saif Ali Khan, cannot be exhausting. He claimed to have worked incredibly hard throughout his career to steer clear of shooting movies he doesn’t like. Saif Ali Khan, an actor who has worked in nearly three decades of movies, will be seen this week in the action thriller Vikram Vedha as a cop who struggles with his morals. Alongside Hrithik Roshan, he co-stars in the Tamil-original adaptation of the movie.
Saif said in an interview that after working in the film industry for your entire adult life, it’s simple to lose a sense of awe. The answer, he claimed, is to take measures to hold onto that wonder despite the laboriousness. He added that Hrithik was “taller and more attractive” than he was. Saif told HeyUGuys, “I just wanted to keep up. He’s one of those stars that the camera adores. He looks terrific and is incredibly hard-working.
Saif continued, “You have to be childish and have that excitement, to keep that sense of wonder. That’s sad. People write off people at a certain age, and I’m 52. Acting is undoubtedly one of those careers that requires a youthful outlook. Cinema is my religion, and by that I also mean it is my moral code. It maintains your health and discipline.

If you do anything too often, or if you don’t do it in the correct way — at least for me — it can easily get too much, Saif remarked when asked if he has ever been jaded. Even the seemingly insignificant act of taking the weekend off and spending some time alone can help you keep your sense of wonderment about what you’re actually doing. I was always the kind of inattentive, uninterested teenager in school… Additionally, it might be painful. We’ve all worked for money and other things, but ideally, we should work because it’s enjoyable and stimulating. In addition, I’ve made a concerted effort to avoid undertaking projects I find unappealing because I’ve frequently worked on unappealing movies.
Pushkar-Gayathri, who also directed the original movie with Vijay Sethupathi and R Madhavan, is the director of Vikram Vedha. Saif’s last movie was Bunty Aur Babli 2, and this is Hrithik’s first movie since 2019’s War. Radhika Apte, Yogita Bihani, and Rohit Saraf are included in the remake as well. On Friday, Vikram Vedha will be shown in theatres.
