Another accomplishment for India as an Indian-Origin nation. On Friday, Tesla’s new Chief Financial Officer, 45-year-old Vaibhav Taneja, was announced. This is in addition to his current position as the company’s Chief Accounting Role. This comes after Zachary Kirkhorn, Tesla’s CFO for four years, indicated his intention to retire, the firm said in a filing.According to the corporate filing, Zachary Kirkhorn’s 13 years working for the Elon Musk-led American EV firm were marked by “tremendous expansion and growth.” During his leadership, Tesla achieved a $1 trillion market valuation and turned in its first quarterly profit.Mr. Kirkhorn is acknowledged by Tesla for his substantial contributions.
In a LinkedIn article, Zachary Kirkhorn stated, “This morning Tesla announced that I’ve stepped down from my role as Chief Financial Officer, succeeded by our Chief Accounting Officer, Vaibhav Taneja.”
“Working here has been a unique experience for me, and I’m really happy of the progress we’ve made since I started more than 13 years ago. I would like to thank Tesla’s bright, enthusiastic, and hard-working staff, who have accomplished things that many others believed (were) impossible, while I change my responsibilities to assist this transition. For his leadership and positivity, which have motivated so many people, I also want to thank Elon,” the speaker added.
