When did you decide to become an author ?

Ans : I wanted to become an author from teenage years.

Tell us about your journey of writing your first solo book ?

Ans : It was a serendipitousj interlude with divinity.All happened during the Covid lock down period when I got ample time to reflect and write as my hospital was taken over by the Government for admission of Covid patients.

What impact do you feel authors have on children ?

Ans :Childhood is the best time to cultivate and nurture the real mindset of children.Authors are the only community that can create that for children with their words of wisdom.

Ans-  It happened 2 years ago

Tell us about your journey of writing your first solo book ?

Ans-I was struggling with over-thinking. In fact, I’m still suffering from this.. that’s why I decided I’ll start  writing.And now I’m writing my pain my struggles  and hardships.

What impact do you feel authors have on children ?

Ans- It reduces the problem of overthinking . For  those who can’t speak what is happening  on their mind they can easily take resort to  a paper and feel a lot calmer.

When did you decide to become an author ?

Ans : When the pandemic hit and there was a lockdown, I was working on my poetry book, but my dad had this plot idea that we were hoping to develop in a novel. We started working on it together and we would both write our drafts and discuss back and forth until we had the first draft ready. Then we again became busy in our professional lives but later I took a week long sabbatical and completed the novel. So you can say I am an accidental novelist!

Tell us about your journey of writing your first solo book ?

Ans : My journey was tiring but rewarding. Due to the rigours of professional life as I am a very busy criminal lawyer in south gujarat, I was brimming with ideas but could not find the time for uninterrupted writing. I had a hard time switching on and off from writing novels to poetry to law. But I inched my way through the first draft and then banged it into shape within a week long sabbatical in Lonavala.

What impact do you feel authors have on children ?

Ans Children, nowadays, are more into screen time and audio-visual medium than in the written word. Somewhere, the adults are responsible for it. We equate reading with learning and screen time with leisure. So children don’t read for joy. The right kind of author, with the help of novelty ideas can change this attitude and draw the children toward reading. It is a whole world painted with words where each child themselves make their images which can be fascinating if introduced at an early age.

When did you decide to become an author ?

Ans: I made the decision to become an author after the success of my first essay, “My First Novel,” which was based on the Ponniyin Selvan novel. Seeing it published in a magazine was a turning point that sparked my passion for storytelling and motivated me to pursue a career as an author. The positive response to that initial piece fueled my confidence and belief in the impact of written words, ultimately shaping my path towards becoming a writer.

Ans: The journey of writing my first solo book, “Positive Infinity,” was an exhilarating experience. Fueled by inspiration, I poured my thoughts into poetry over the course of just three days. The book’s swift success was beyond my expectations, securing a hattrick of awards and earning the title of an Influencer Book of World Record in “The Author Behind Positive Infinity and Iconic Podcaster of 2023.” Additionally, my podcast, “Spread Positive Infinity with Author Sridevi,” gained recognition in the New and Noteworthy category on Apple Podcasts, further amplifying the positive message I aimed to share with the world.

What impact do you feel authors have on children ?

Ans: Authors play a pivotal role in shaping children’s perspectives and values through their stories. In my view, they have the power to inspire positivity and mindfulness by weaving narratives that instill empathy, resilience, and a sense of self-awareness in young readers. Through well-crafted characters and engaging plots, authors can plant seeds of understanding and compassion, contributing to the emotional and intellectual growth of children.

When did you decide to become an author ?

Ans : I have been writing from a very young age, although I started writing from the age of 15, meticulously. I wrote on every occasion. I wrote when I was happy, I wrote when I was sad. I gave gifts as poetry to my friends on their birthdays. I always thought writing was my hobby. My friends always asked me to publish my poetry book but I never thought I would be taking writing as my career as I was a software professional. With time and age I realise, life is short and afterall we should do what we like to, and then by 2021 my first book got published. I have quite a good collection of my old poetries although many were lost over time. My first book “Mera to yeh mai bhi nahi” is my poetic autobiography of myself. It is the book based on “Sahitya” and explains the beauty of life and philosophy. 

Tell us about your journey of writing your first solo book ?

Ans i have been writing since 15 years of age and had collected enough of poetries to be published but time and my career in Computers resisted my to take up writing professionally. In the year 2021, I published my first book and never thought I would take up writing professionally. Now I am a professional writer and writing is my full time work and passion. Although my first Book “Mera to yeh mai bhi nahi” was first started writing in  2006/ 2007 yet I have been continuing parts, phrases and poetries in the same line forever. In 2010 I wanted to publish this book but my busy work didn’t permit me. Then with time I lost my poetry book and finally I sat back and wrote the entire book in 8 days. I just had to recollect the thought and summarise it. Every word, every line in my book has a story, a meaning. It’s a beautiful poetry of emotions, philosophy and lyrics.

What impact do you feel authors have on children ?

Ans Authors are the first person who impact kids’ minds. The books they read in school from Nursery, the songs they sing from a very young age. The lessons they learn in school. Everything is written and done by an Author. My mother always said to me from I was very young that “A Pen is mightier than a Sword”. I used to think about its meaning. And there it is. A pen is indeed mightier than the sword. What words can do, swords cannot. So an Author has a major role to play in kids mind and thus life. Enjoy writing….

When did you decide to become an author?

Ans: I have been involved in writing since my school days. But I decided to take it forward after my marriage. And since three years I am actively participating in various writing projects.

Tell us about your journey of writing your first writeup?

Ans: My first write-up was titled “Colour Purple”. It was for an anthology called “Disabled Society” by Rosewood Publication (2 years back).

What impact do you feel authors have on children?

Ans: Author plays a vital role in forming the young generations’ personalities and leaves an everlasting impression on them. It develops the cognitive skills, emotional and spiritual aspects of their personalities.

When did you decide to become an author ?

Ans It’s been 16 years, and every day has been a new summer. I am thrilled and feeling Pied Piper magic moments in every way. Since class 11, I have been writing, and my write-up was selected in a Tinsrel magazine. After that, my co-authorship started. From the Wisdom Quote Book, I began to usher in I really felt butterflies while seeing my parents names on the front headlines, along with mine.

Tell us about your journey of writing your first writeup ?

Ans: I was so enthralled after getting my book published in the name of my parents. I was on cloud nine, seeing the rope of hard work and success. I had fought really hard for my dreams, which were in between creating a bar of satisfaction by grading up in government jobs, which I couldn’t. I levelled up my gamut of efforts to replenish my writeup, and I finally did it after co authoring 145+ books and being a solo beginner for my own book, Jasmine of December. It took me five years to write this book, with so much experiential hodgepodge. But I am loving this rainbow of excitement and this storm of perennial efforts. It’s making me flower and deflower my variables, from notions of self-doubt to travelogues of succession.

 What impact do you feel authors have on children ?

Ans:  Children are the amygdalae of life possibilities. They are the seeds to implant a future vision. Deriving their curiosity instills me to profuse on their cortex of their in-depth search and answers. And for me, being a writer, my impact on children is to give them all possible nuances to fetch them an ideal situation to deal with lifelong combats. It’s not easy to cut the water with a knife. My search is to give them an ecstasy to thrive in towards the lake of pearls, to navigate those oysters, and to play with the riches of words in their imagination.

What impact do you feel authors have on children ?

Ans : If children are taking interest in writing, it means they are good seekers & readers also. Whoever will read more, can only write. It will be helpful to the revolutionary changes.

Philosophy of “the child is a father of man” says the same thing that the real impact can be seen into child/ young authors, if they start to write at an early age. Children’s minds and capacity are better & stronger than elders, the point of experience is different, which can be developed as per time. In my opinion every child should have a habit of writing something to evaluate their thoughts for improving society & further steps.

When did you decide to become an author ?

Ans – Becoming an author has always been a dream for me,  since the age of six . So, when my work was published in class 12, it was like a dream come true for me .

Tell us about your journey of writing your first solo book ?

Ans – l wrote my first solo book ‘ Hues of Exuberance’ in class twelve . It was hazardous coming up with an enticing plot , since people would be reading it, not only me or my family members . Overcoming writer’s block was also a bit challenging, but the overall journey was fun  .
