US President Donald Trump shared a video claiming to show the destruction of one of Iran’s largest bridges, warning Tehran to “make a deal before it is too late” amid escalating tensions.
The strike targeted the B1 Bridge in Karaj, where at least eight people were killed, according to a report by the Associated Press. Iranian state media, citing local authorities, said 95 others were injured as crowds had gathered beneath the bridge and along the riverbank to celebrate “Nature Day.”
In a post, Trump described the bridge as “never to be used again” and warned that further action could follow. He also claimed that US forces had not yet begun “destroying what’s left in Iran,” intensifying his rhetoric against Tehran.
Earlier, in a national address, Trump cautioned that Iran could face devastating consequences—going as far as saying it could be pushed back to the “Stone Age”—if a deal is not reached soon. His remarks were met with sharp reactions online from Iranian officials.
Shortly after the speech, Iran reportedly launched projectiles toward Israel, signaling a rapid escalation in the already volatile West Asia conflict triggered by US-Israeli strikes on Iran in late February.
