Arvind Kejriwal, the chief minister of Delhi, stated on Saturday that although the Yamuna River’s water level has progressively dropped after it flooded Delhi for more than two days, the possibility of further flooding still exists. Kejriwal issued a warning against visiting the districts of Delhi that are under water, claiming that doing so might be fatal given how quickly the water is moving and how it could increase at any time. Kejriwal asked everyone to refrain from participating in such activities while sharing a video of kids having fun in the floodwaters of Shanti Van.
“The Yamuna’s water level is steadily dropping. If there isn’t a lot of rain, everything will soon return to normal. Water is being taken out of the Wazirabad and Chandrawal water treatment facilities. The factories will thereafter be functioning by tomorrow when the machines have dried out, Kejriwal tweeted.
