Prime Suspect Akashdeep Gill Used Labourer’s Mobile Hotspot to Communicate with Conspirators in Baba Siddique Murder Case: Police Reveal
News Article:
In a significant development in the Baba Siddique murder investigation, police have revealed that prime suspect Akashdeep Gill, who was arrested in Punjab, used a labourer’s mobile hotspot to secretly communicate with key conspirators, including the mastermind Anmol Bishnoi. The Mumbai Police, while probing the case, uncovered this method that Gill employed to evade law enforcement detection.
According to police officials, Gill admitted to using the mobile hotspot of a labourer named Balwinder. This allowed him to remain off the radar and avoid being tracked. Investigators are currently searching for Gill’s personal mobile phone, which they believe may contain crucial evidence related to the case.
Additionally, sources revealed that Shubham Lonkar, another accused in the case, had previously planned to kill Aftab Poonawala, the individual arrested in connection with the murder of Shraddha Walker. Lonkar, allegedly linked to the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, had allegedly spent a month in 2022 plotting Poonawala’s assassination, which was intended to take place in Delhi’s Saket court.
