The greatest ICC event for the Women’s cricket team is here. The ICC 50 over Women’s world cup will commence from March 4 and will conclude on April 3. Team India who was the runners up in the last tournament has finally announced their squad that will fly to New Zealand where the marquee event will take place.
As Usual, Mithali Raj has been announced as the Captain of the side with Harmanpreet Kaur as Vice-Captain. The team will also have veterans like Jhulan Goswami and Smriti Mandhana. Young sensation Shefali Verma too has been included in the side. However, the biggest disappointment is the exclusion of long time players Jemimah Rodrigues and Shikha Pandey who had a lean patch last year with the bat.
