During his two-day state visit to Israel, Narendra Modi held extensive talks with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, aimed at further strengthening the strategic partnership between the two countries.
The leaders discussed cooperation in key sectors such as defence, technology, agriculture and trade, and signed several agreements to deepen bilateral ties. Both sides also reviewed ongoing collaborations and explored new opportunities to expand economic and security cooperation.
During the visit, Modi addressed the Israeli parliament, the Knesset, where he highlighted the strong democratic values shared by India and Israel and reaffirmed India’s commitment to strengthening its partnership with the country.
The prime minister also interacted with members of the Indian diaspora in Israel, praising their contribution to strengthening people-to-people ties between the two nations. In addition, Modi met with cultural personalities, including members of the cast of the popular Israeli television series Fauda, reflecting the growing cultural engagement between the two countries.
Modi’s visit is seen as a significant step in reinforcing India–Israel relations at a time of evolving geopolitical dynamics in West Asia.
