Trump Claims Immigration is ‘Killing’ Europe, Urges Nations to Halt ‘Horrible Invasion’

Former U.S. President Donald Trump launched a fresh attack on immigration policies during a media interaction after landing at Scotland’s Prestwick Airport on Friday. Speaking ahead of his scheduled meeting with UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer, Trump urged European nations to act swiftly on what he called a “horrible invasion” of migrants, warning that Europe might “not exist anymore” if the issue goes unchecked.

“There are a couple of things I could say, but on immigration, you’ve got to get your act together. You won’t have Europe anymore,” Trump stated, sounding an alarm over what he claims is a growing crisis across the continent.

In his remarks, Trump also claimed that “nobody entered” the United States last month under his administration, suggesting a complete shutdown of migrant entry. He used the moment to criticize his predecessor, President Joe Biden, accusing him of allowing mass immigration into the country.

“You know, last month we had nobody entering our country. We shut it down. We took out a lot of bad people that got there when Biden… Biden was a total stiff when he allowed it to happen,” Trump said. “But you’re allowing it to happen to your countries. And you’ve got to stop this horrible invasion. This immigration is killing Europe.”

Trump is in Scotland for a brief weekend trip, and his comments are expected to stir political debates both in Europe and back home, especially as immigration remains a contentious issue ahead of the upcoming U.S. elections.
