The visionary founder of the Society for the Promotion of Indian Classical Music and Culture Amongst Youth (SPIC MACAY), Padma Shri Dr. Kiran Seth, graced the grounds of SAI International School on Tuesday and inspired a cultural awakening in the Class 8 and 9 students.
According to a formal news release, SAI International School’s hosting of the event demonstrated the school’s dedication to fostering holistic education. It emphasizes the value of cultural enrichment in the academic path of the student, emphasizing why SAI International continually sponsors and conducts SPIC MACAY activities.
In her insightful speech, Dr. Kiran Seth emphasized the transforming impact of classical music as a contemplative instrument that fosters focus while revealing the rich tapestry of Indian tradition. He emphasized the importance of conserving culture by volunteering, establishing a feeling of responsibility in the pupils. He was joined by four committed SPIC MACAY volunteers. The interactive session that followed gave students the chance to actively participate in meditation and take in illuminating stories, strengthening their bond with Indian culture.
Dr Seth’s words left an indelible mark: “Our culture’s beauty lives in the art forms bequeathed by our ancestors. As future global citizens, you bear the responsibility of preserving this rich legacy.”
The SAI International School is aware of how important these experiences are in forming students’ views and promoting holistic growth. By holding SPIC MACAY activities, the school hopes to expose students to various cultural experiences, build a strong respect for the arts, and instill a feeling of duty to maintain our cultural legacy.
