Can you brief yourself to our readers?

Hello, readers of Interview Times. My name is Dr Manaswini Rath. I am an IIT Kharagpur graduate. Moreover, I did my Masters in the UK and my PhD from Boston University USA. I have been in the corporate world for nearly 26 years in the professional arena. Currently, I am working as a global business leader that makes the autonomous driving system. Moreover, previously I have also worked in prestigious companies like Infosys.

What inspired you to become an entrepreneur?

Since my childhood days, I have always wanted to take leadership roles. Whether in my class or any inter/intra-school competitions, I always led the team from the front. I loved challenges from the early days of my life, which inspired me to become an entrepreneur.

Who is the biggest inspiration in your life?

I have always been amazed by leaders who have created revolutions by taking historical decisions in my professional life. Whether it be Elon Musk, Steve Jobs, or our own Modi ji, they have been the biggest inspiration of my life.

As a female entrepreneur, how do you think you can change the lives of several aspiring females in India?

I always believe that “A Woman brings a change in society.” A woman can be a great entrepreneur. However, she should have clarity in her mind. She can definitely taste success if there is clarity of what she wants in her life and her priorities. Once she takes her decisions clearly, her family will also support her.

What is the most significant achievement in your life so far?

A few incidents in my life have given me immense satisfaction as a human being. I have single-handedly won business deals worth billions of dollars in the professional arena. These businesses have not only given profit to the institutions but have given employment to thousands of engineers in India. Therefore, I feel immense pride when I see that thousands are getting employed and hundreds of thousands are earning their livelihood. I am also a spiritual healer and a motivational speaker. So, I also feel proud when I see people taking positive steps towards a happy living after taking my consultations.

You have been an inspirational, motivational speaker for many years. What piece of advice will you like to provide to people who cannot achieve success in their first go?

The first thing that human beings should understand is that they are the ones who can change themselves. Yes, external tools will motivate them to hunt for success, but the change needs to come within themselves.

How do you see the youth shaping up for the future?

Young generations are more aware, more intelligent, and more exposed to the technical advances of society. So they can make the earth a better place to live in. However, with a plethora of options available to them, they need to decide on the best opportunity they love and build a better career.

Any piece of advice to young entrepreneurs?

Focus and Focus and perseverance. Young entrepreneurs need to focus on their goals and stick to them till they find success.
