Gentle movement is encouraged: To prevent joint problems, promote moderate exercise such as flexing, yoga, or swimming. Describe indoor muscle-strengthening workout activities, including dancing or light aerobics.

Put nutrition first: Now is the time to prepare foods high in anti-inflammatory ingredients, such as fish, nuts, seeds, and green vegetables. Get adequate vitamin D from the sun or from supplements.
